What is A-CSPO® Certification?

Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner® (A-CSPO) is a credential offered by Scrum Alliance® for Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) professionals who wish to take their Scrum Product Owner skills to the next level. As a Product Owner, you will work directly with the business to gain product knowledge, make decisions related to prioritizing the product backlog items, and also help in providing the vision of the product. Being an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner® (A-CSPO), you will be able to:

A-CSPO stands for Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner. It is an advanced-level certification offered by Scrum Alliance for professionals who are already Certified Scrum Product Owners (CSPO) and want to deepen their skills in managing and delivering successful products in an Agile environment.

Before you can take the A-CSPO course, you need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO): You must have an active CSPO certification.
  2. Experience: You should have at least 12 months of work experience as a Product Owner in the last 5 years.
  3. Complete A-CSPO Training: You must attend a Scrum Alliance approved A-CSPO course, which is usually a 2–3 days of interactive training session.
