What is a Certified ScrumMaster®?

Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) is a designation offered by Scrum Alliance. CSM® training prepares you for the critical role of
the ScrumMaster by understanding the Scrum framework, its artifacts, Scrum roles, responsibilities of the ScrumMaster and Scrum ceremonies.
Being a Certified ScrumMaster, you will be able to:

  • Ensure that the team follows Scrum ceremonies and values.
  • Coach the team on Scrum and take them through the change.
  • Establish an environment where the team can be effective.
  • Ensure that goals are understood by everyone in the Scrum Team.
  • Facilitate Scrum events whenever required.
